Sr. Data Scientist
Description: The well qualified candidate will actively participate in a data analytics challenge ‘bake off’ scenario in a compressed time interval of 10 days. They must 100% hit the “ground running” and be able to operate within a team on day 0. Must work well in a team and as an individual contributor.

- Year of experience:
- 5+ years of production level experience working on predictive analytics, machine learning, AI in a cloud environment (GCP, Azure, AWS)
- Platforms Used
- 2+ DataBricks or comparable experience in production level predictive analytics, ML, and AI deployment, management, troubleshooting
- Development Experience
- Should have experience in ML, AI model development in R and Python leading to production deployment level quality and performance
- Deep Learning experience: keras, tensorflow, pytorch, h2o
- R experience: tidyverse including dbplyr, R markdown, Shiny, caret
- Python experience: mllib, scikit-learn, pandas
- Work experience
- Summarize and analyze complex/large data to guide business insights
- Independently merge and tidy data from multiple source systems, then conduct appropriate summarization or statistical analyses according to business stakeholder needs
- Use data and visualizations to inform business solutions for organizational leaders
- Organize databases, analyses, and reports into user-accessable and reproducible repositories
- Kaggle contest experience and A-B testing experience in ML and AI
- Experience with Git
- Experience with Atlassian suite: Jira, Confluence
- Experience with Microsoft suite: word, powerpoint, and excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics, Data Science or Computer Science
- Author citations in Mathematics or Computer Science publications
- Novice level ML, AI practitioners
